Becoming Plexiglass:

Exploring Resilience Through Play

Becoming Plexiglass was the opposite of an audition technique workshop: it was an invitation to explore rejection and uncertainty, for actors of all experiences and backgrounds. Participants were challenged through a series of games and improvisations, holding space for each other to share their experiences of navigating the industry. The goal of this workshop was to devise the tools and healthy coping mechanisms to build and maintain a sustained acting career, and was be facilitated with a healthy dose of humour. Let’s explore together what keeps us going when our agents don’t call us back.
