is this my bio?

is this my bio? was a series of four short films that follow a character speaking to camera as he roams around Marseille. In this first episode, a glance of recognition opens into an enigmatic exchange within which the narrator engages in a series of self-reflections. Mirroring the language and address of motivational videos ubiquitous across social media and the internet, the video highlights the slipperiness of meaning in this content, calling into question the reliability of the narrator in the process.

This event was organised by Harilay Rabenjamina, as part of the Associate Artists Programme.
